What is a Story Quilt?

Story quilts are hand-made, 100% cotton quilts that feature 144 different squares, picturing everything under the sun.

Use the quilt as a story tool; a child's imagination can take off as they make up stories using the pictures on the quilt as a guide.

-- Toss a handful of chocolate kisses onto the quilt. Turn the squares they land on into a story. "Once upon a time there was an elephant. Now this was no ordinary elephant. This elephant loved to…" The best part is eating the kisses as you share ideas.

-- Simply start at the first square and see how crazy a story can get as each person continues the story, using the pictures as a guide.

-- Use it as a story game board. Spin a dial, roll some dice, move that many squares and begin a story. Spin and roll again and again and again. You can even have 4-5 stories going on at once, as each person continues their story when they roll and move. Now that's complicated!

-- The best use of all…snuggle your little ones, and when they ask "Will you tell me a story?" , you can say, "Absolutely! Let's see. Once upon a time there was an angel. Now this was no ordinary angel! This angel loved to …"
