Besides being a storyteller, Omar is an award winning playwright and a writer and has had his plays produced in every area of the country. The Wildman

A fairytale melodrama, Brave Reginald must find a way to thwart the Wildman who has no heart and who has imprisoned his brothers, their fiancés and Reginald's own true love. With the help of a wolf, an otter, and a raven he finds the heart of the Wildman and frees those he loves.

Pioneer Song

Ruth Mariman sets off with her three daughters to cross the prairie in search of a new life in Oregon. She finds and loses more than she could ever have imagined in a year's time. This play with music was first produced at Brigham Young University-Idaho with the help of grants from the Idaho Commission of the Arts and the National Endowments of the Arts. The play version of Omar and Lori's Lonesome Prairie Sea.

The Dastardly School Chum

The lovely and virtuous Telita Trueness must find out what true love is. Is she in love with the fascinating and scholarly professor Dr. Figmire Turncoat or does she love the handsome but uneducated Joshua Justheart? In the midst of all of this, a despicable plan is afoot and things are not as they appear. A fun old-time melodrama.

Bearskin

Set in the years after the Revolutionary War in America, a man who has lost hope in his life makes a covenant with a "peddler" that turns him into Bearskin and lasts seven years. In that time he wanders the country seeing the cruelty and kindness of the human race until he understands a way to find himself again.

Selkie

The musical version of Omar and Lori's two person story play. In this story taken from an old Irish legend, Sean O'hart believes he is the happiest man alive because he has found the love of his life. But he also finds that with love comes loss and "to find the woman he loves he must lose her, and to lose the woman he loves means he will find her."

Horned Witches

Agnes Molloy has no idea that she is being sought out by the fenian woman because she is good of heart. Five comical witches, led by Brisilla the witch of the five horns, take control of Agnes' home and hold the house captive until a wandering bard arrives to deal with the threat. A wonderful Halloween musical play for all ages.
